Staying in a family room with an emperor bed was a delightful surprise, showcasing clean bedding and a big bathroom, despite its outdated decor. The location is excellent, with plenty of pubs and restaurants just steps away. the hotel needs refurbishing. the carpets and furniture showed considerable wear. navigating the winding stairs and fire doors to access the room can be a bit cumbersome.

The location is fantastic, right on the high street, making it convenient for exploring the area. The bed in my double room was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom offered a generous amount of space, complete with cute toiletries. the noise from doors slamming was disruptive, especially in the morning. The overall decor felt outdated, and maintenance seemed lacking, with peeling wallpaper and an iron burn in the room that needed attention.

had a great time at the royal victoria n bull hotel! the location is totally amaze, right on the high street near shops n the cathedral. the staff were friendly n super helpful, which made our stay comfy. our room was spacious with clean bedding, comfy bed, n nice shower. loved that we could see the pretty church from our window too!
but the mattress was kinda old n lumpy, which didn’t help my back. also, some decor updates would really help liven up the room.

Hanging out in our Deluxe King Suite was a real treat, especially enjoying the cozy vibe and those plush pillows! We totally unwound at the lovely spa and the perfect little nook by the fireplace. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but it didn't really put a damper on our stay. 😊

Oh mate, the food around here is a proper treat! Just a stone’s throw from The Royal are gems like The Quills and Latino Joes, serving up top-notch dishes. Plus, the room was dead comfy and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier.
Now, don't get me wrong, the place could use a bit of sprucing up—those curtains were looking worse for wear, and the door was a bit of a brute to open! Still, we made it work and had a laugh!

The Double Room was spacious, which I loved. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The TV had working channels too. It was nice to have a large room to relax in after a long day. Staff was super helpful about our late arrival, and parking was easy out back. No complaints from me!
